Tucked in the woods of northern Connecticut is the barn/recording studio/rehearsal space that Mercies calls home. Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Josh Rheault, with the help of his family and friends, restored the barn in the Fall and Winter of 2010/2011. Not only were 2x4’s cut, concrete poured, and electricity run, but Mercies found it’s humble beginnings through this restoration process.

VESS is a five-piece rock outfit hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, and consists of Jeremy Vess {vocals, guitar}, Evan Sheets {bass}, Jeremy Mullis {guitar}, Dominic Geralds {drums} and Jeremy Hopkins {keys, synth}. Formed during the winter months of 2011, the band is led by the brilliance of frontman Jeremy Vess and backed by a tight-knit group of comrades that display a vivid landscape of audio that is all their own.
