Little Horn are coming to The Drunken Unicorn on Friday, August 3rd.

Little Horn are headlining The Drunken Unicorn on Friday, August 3rd, 2012.

Keith Forrester has a dark, southern tinged ,soul-searching lyrical style that often questions the validity of traditional religious dogma and he does it with a not-so-typical low end voice. As a band Little Horn is unique in their lack of shame for tastefully wailing their instruments, and the fact that they have been called any number of combinations of indie, folk, gothic, psychedelic, progressive and rock. To hear them tell it their approach is fairly simple: they love what they do, they write what they like, and they hope to be doing it for a long time.

Faithless Town will be the performing before Little Horn.

"Faithless Town sounds like if Roy Orbison, Ryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen, and old Kings of Leon had a bastard child and nobody knows who the father is. The lead singer, Gene Owens, has a vintage quality to his voice that makes their songs sound like 1960s throwbacks dressed up in Wayfarers and skinny jeans." 99x
