Drawing comparisons to Joan Jett and Chrissie Hynde, front girl Amber Taylor knows how to work a crowd, with an aura that reverberates on and off stage. Her electric charisma and haunting voice command attention while her epileptic guitar work leaves audiences gasping for breath. Guitarist Matt Foster adds complex textures and edgy solos while bassist Mike Sidner and drummer Clay McClure lay down solid, yet understated, grooves.

The Levee was birthed out of a need to create. Brandon Funk came to the table with 14 songs with the intention of recording an EP using only local talent out of Atlanta for everything it takes to make an album. After enlisting the help of Kyle Schumacher and Michael Stallings to help record his solo project, the three knew that they had something unique. The EP turned into an LP, and the solo project turned into a band, and after recently solidifying their line up with the addition of Tucker Richmond.

Androcles & The Lion will be performing before Shook Foil.



Androcles and the Lion formed in August 2010, after songwriters, McKendrick Bearden and Austin Harris, moved to Athens. The pair met while studying music at LaGrange College. To pass the time while working on composition projects the two began writing songs together.

Keith Forrester has a dark, southern tinged ,soul-searching lyrical style that often questions the validity of traditional religious dogma and he does it with a not-so-typical low end voice. As a band Little Horn is unique in their lack of shame for tastefully wailing their instruments, and the fact that they have been called any number of combinations of indie, folk, gothic, psychedelic, progressive and rock. To hear them tell it their approach is fairly simple: they love what they do, they write what they like, and they hope to be doing it for a long time.
